Scored from 50% of the formula's weight. The rest doesn't apply to this product.

PFAS coating2/10 · 50% weight

Whether the cooking surface uses PFAS-based nonstick chemistry, which can degrade at high heat.

Heavy-metal leachingno data · 20% weight

Whether lead, cadmium or other metals can migrate from the material into food — the concern behind some glazes and older cookware.

Plastic monomerno data · 15% weight

Plastic building blocks (like BPA) that can migrate into food, especially when heated.

Material certificationsno data · 15% weight

Independent food-contact safety verifications (NSF, FDA food-contact).

PFAS / C8 knowing harm; Chemours spinoff (2015)
  • 1960s–2017C8 (PFOA) at Washington Works — knowledge withheld from workers and community — Internal DuPont studies from the 1960s onward recorded PFOA toxicity and its presence in workers' blood and in the Ohio River valley water supply, while the company continued discharging it. A court-supervised science panel later found probable links to six diseases; DuPont and Chemours settled roughly 3,550 personal-injury claims for $671M in 2017.
