- 2021US House Oversight Subcommittee — heavy metals in commercial baby foods — The Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy reported that Nurture (HappyBABY) sold finished baby-food products after its own internal testing recorded arsenic, lead and cadmium at levels far above what the Subcommittee considered acceptable, and that the company used ingredients testing high. The finding rests on the company's OWN test data — internal knowledge is what distinguishes this from a contamination surprise. This is a congressional finding, not a court judgment, and the company disputed the report's characterisation.
