Grapefruit seed extract used as 'natural' preservative. Concern: independent testing has repeatedly found unlabeled synthetic preservatives (benzethonium chloride, methylparaben, triclosan) in commercial GSE products, suggesting the 'natural' antimicrobial claim is often unverified.
