How we reached this
Corrects an inversion: this sat at 6 while conventional honey sat at 8, reversing the organic-above-conventional pattern used across the catalog. Rated at PARITY with honey rather than above it, because apiculture is the one case where organic certification genuinely cannot deliver the usual premium — honey bees forage over several kilometres, well beyond any certified holding, so forage exposure cannot be controlled the way a field crop's can. The US National Organic Program has no apiculture-specific standard, and organic honey sold here is certified under general livestock rules or foreign equivalents. Same added-sugar, adulteration and infant-botulism caveats as honey.
