Cosmetic-grade pigment inks printed on diaper backsheet (the cute prints). FDA + EU regulate the iron oxide / titanium dioxide pigments used. Located on outer non-absorbent layer; not in direct contact with skin during use. EWG cosmetic database generally low-hazard for these mineral-pigment classes; concern is for inks with heavy-metal contamination — major manufacturers source from REACH-compliant vendors with metal limits.
