How we reached this

Azo/diarylide-class organic pigment in the printed backsheet layer. Insoluble and bound in the print; the exposure route to skin is indirect (print is usually on the outer film). Held mid-scale because this pigment class carries an aromatic-amine impurity question and, for diarylides, trace PCB by-products — a manufacturing-quality concern that a label cannot rule out.
